Oxfordshire Woodland Group

Seen in a Bucks woodland - a very large long man made rabbitt warren probably used in medieval times to hunt for rabbits using ferrets, netting and small dogs.

The warren has recently been cleared of trees and is showing signs of still being active in places.

A balance needs to be struck between management of woodlands for tree production and especially natural regeneration versus encouraging wild life game foodstuff production and associated country activities.
