Peter Savill has now updated and republished his authoritative work Silviculture of Trees used in British Forestry ISBN 9781780640266 on trees grown in UK woodlands and forests. He has paid particular attention to the effects of climate change on future forest species that woodland owners should consider as part of the woodland mix.

Peter recently retired as a reader in Forestry at Oxford University and has a knowledge of trees surpassed by few. He is very much part of the Oxfordshire woodland scene.
