The North Wessex Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty forum was held on 11 October 20123 at a venue high on the Berkshire Downs near Lambourne, Berkshire that featured a catenary arched timber structure.

Each arch was made from 8 lengths of Douglas Fir timber scarfed and bolted together to form cruck like cross frames. This was a very informative event and excellent choice of venue.
