NORTH WESSEX DOWNS AREA OF OUTSTANDING NATURAL BEAUTY ANNUAL FORUM 2012
Loyd Lindsay Rooms, Ardington, nr Wantage, Oxfordshire, OX12 8PS
Wednesday 17 October 10 am – 4 pm
The annual North Wessex Downs AONB Forum plays an important role in enabling everybody who cares about the protected landscape of the North Wessex Downs to hear what has been happening and what is planned, to share ideas and information, and to guide the work of the AONB Council of Partners.
This year we will be celebrating our 40th anniversary, with contributions from some of those involved at the time and in the establishment of the AONB unit and a look ahead to the future. Also a chance to see the winning entries in My Favourite Places, our 40th Anniversary photography competition. In addition there will be reports and opportunities for questions and discussion.
The morning session will take place in the Loyd Lindsay Rooms in Ardington. Registration and refreshments are from 9.30 and the main proceedings begin at 10am, followed by a buffet lunch with local produce. In the afternoon there will be a choice of field trips leaving at 2pm, after which we return to the Loyd Lindsay Rooms for tea, departing around 4.30pm.
Places are free but limited, so we would ask you kindly to book by 30 September. An agenda and supporting papers will be sent out on receipt of your completed booking form. The Forum is open to all.
