Oxfordshire Woodland Group

The Oxfordshire Woodland Group are sad to announce the death of Will Beemer who passed away quietly at home on 23rd June 2022. He is pictured top right in the picture below doing what he loved the most - teaching and sharing with others the craft of timber-framing.

Will was a founding member and long time director of the Timber Framers Guild (of North America) and owned and ran the Heartwood school of timber-framing in Western Mass., USA. He was an author of many journal articles and published a book on Learn how to timber-frame

He will be missed by all who knew him.
