The coppice items illustrated below that have all been produced from one hazel stool on a 4 year rotation with an overall sale price ticket value of £100.

Obviously not every item will sell and so an income of about £60 - £70 will most likely be realised per stool.

This morning Bambi's mum was back and so a number of as yet unsold pea sticks were placed around the cut hazel stool in an effort to protect the recently emerging tasty hazel shoots. All of the coppice poles have now sold (£70) but we still have pea stick for sale.

It's 2025 bean pole and pea stick cutting season.

Bean poles are sold in lots of 10 x 8ft poles + 1 x 10ft ridge pole plus bundle of pea sticks for £30.

The pea sticks are made from the tops of the bean poles.

The bean poles and pea sticks have now gone to a new happy home that is getting ready for the 2025 growing season but don't worry there are still more left.
