OWG Fellow A Jarvis of Chiltern Woodcraft is making a high level children's adventure frame walk and needs to employ a 5 metre long log flattened on the top.

We are making use of a larch tree log left over after cutting brace stock material from the lower part of the tree.

The log was pulled out of the woodland using the Land Rover and was manoeuvered into position using levers and rollers ready for debarking before being loaded onto the sawmill to mill a flat top surface along the full length of the log.
