Woodland cabin builders will delight in following the exploits of Michelle Goss (Michygoss) in the Ockanagan valley in British Columbia where she demonstrates how she uses her Bobcat steer skid to recover, move and load tree trunks onto her Woodland Mills mobile saw for making timber to use in building a cabin on the edge of a cliff, woodstore, arbor, pole barn and how she has fitted out their lakeside property.

Having built our own cabin in the woods we can empathise with the issues and sometime difficulties that can be faced and yet Michelle seems determined to achieve most of this single handed, generally learning by doing.

Michelle sets a great example of girl power.

Michelle demonstrates with an old sawmill blade why it is essential to keep the sawmill doors closed when working with the saw, This prevents the saw blade from flying off in an uncontrolled fashion.
