Oxfordshire Woodland Group

The Oxfordshire Woodland Group are holding a horse logging demonstration in a woodland in South Oxfordshire (between Woodcote & Checkendon) on Easter Saturday 26th March 2016.

Mark Cottrell will be extracting felled Douglas Fir trees from the woodland to a rideside collection area -

- where the logs will in due course be converted into structural timbers or planks for the OWG Cruck Building project.

OWG members, woodland enthusiasts and local community persons are very welcome to attend and should register interest in attending with The Executive Trustee and thereafter you will be kept informed about the exact location, timing & parking arrangements.
