Hi,

Nick Keighley came to my aid yesterday with his recently purchased tractor / trailer loader arm combination to help me fell dead elms, leaning and fallen ash and oak trees that were growing along the boundary of our woodland in South Oxfordshire. I am very relieved that this quiet lane is now a much safer place for passing motorists, cyclists, horseriders and pedestrians to enjoy.

Nick is fully trained in arboculture and has a Masters in Forestry from Bangor University and is pretty handy with a chainsaw as well. Nick recently obtained "Leader" funding (via S. Oxon. D.C.) to make this strategic capital investment in forestry equipment which should be of considerable use in assisting small woodland owners in South Oxon & The Chilterns to manage their woodlands on a cost effective basis i.e. without the need to own or operate this type of equipment themselves but still be able to take advantage of same when the need arises (and it will !).
