On Friday 04th July 2014 The Chilterns Conservation Board will visit Shirburn Hill, (near Watlington, Oxon).

This is a joint Chilterns Box Woodland Project and Chalk Grassland Managers site visit to look at issues relating to scrub (including box) on chalk grassland in the Chilterns. Shirburn Hill is an interesting sheep-grazed chalk grassland with diverse and expanding scrub.

We will be joined by a number of experts in the field including Dr Keith Kirby, woodland ecologist.
