I recently chanced upon the Blackbark woodland management group based in Calderdale and think that it would be a good idea to see their approach to woodland management replicated here in Oxfordshire.
Another similar group - The Community Tree Project has emerged in Sussex offering much the same services [website link pending] as outlined on the Small Woodland Owners Group web forum.
The Oxfordshire Woodland Group would especially welcome and support the formation of a similar group in the South Oxfordshire / Berkshire area.
