Watlington contains many different types of timber-framed building including this underbuilt Wealden jettied building probably dating from the mid to late 1400's.

Sometime later (early - mid 1500's) an end jettied building was added though it is not clear whether this was a separate building or an attached crosswing.

Pictures on Images of England show that this house was fitted with shutters as late as 2001 with only the shutter latches able to be seen today.
