We have just finished making a child's windsor chair for a baby girl aged 9 months. With the aid of straps attached to the chair spindles and a rein harness attached to the baby she can happily sit in the chair at the dinner table where she is on the same level as adults. This makes feeding her a pleasant task.

The Stratfield Saye Bodgers, including Derrick, Veronica, Sue, Rosie, Marta and Yvonne, made the chair from cherry, elm and yew wood finished with linseed oil and a beeswax hand rubbed finish.
