Woodland to Workshop training courses.
Woodland Heritage has announced the dates for their 2013 three-day training courses. These courses aim to link ‘growers with wood users’, broaden horizons and raise awareness by educating participants from the forest through to the workshop and beyond. This is a significant course for all those who want to meet and learn from experts.
The course is supported by knowledgeable practitioners and eminent speakers from the wood producer and user industries.
The 2013 courses will take place on :-
- Tuesday 7th to Thursday 9th May 2013
- Monday 16th to Wednesday 18th September 2013
- Monday 7th October to Wednesday 9th October 2013
at Whitney Sawmill & Joinery Workshop located in Whitney-on-Wye, Herefordshire.
The courses are run in the woodland, timber yard, sawmill and joinery workshop. Numbers are restricted to enable a very much ‘hands on’ and highly interactive approach to ensure a learning experience and opportunity of enduring quality. Some subsidised places are available to deserving and committed individuals.
