The shingles to be used to cover the roof of the cruck barn are now being made using a mobile saw with these then stored under cover in well ventilated space to ensure good drying with minimal warpage.

Some 3000 shingles will be needed 24" long x 8" wide with a 3/4" butt tapering to 3/8" top. These are being made using European Larch and Western Red Cedar
