The Sustainability Centre at East Meon is running a Sustainable Woodland Management Course led by Ben Law over the period Mon 7th - Fri 11th November 2016.

This is a 5-day training course in Sustainable Woodland Management tutored by Ben Law, famous for his Grand Designs woodland house and author of 'The Woodland Way, a permaculture approach to sustainable woodland management'. The course will be run at The Sustainability Centre, East Meon, Nr Petersfield and also at Ben Law's Prickly Nut woodland nearby in West Sussex.

The course covers:
- Principles of woodland sustainability
- Woodland types, structure and methods of management
- Timber production, timber processing and woodland craft skills
- Promoting woodland biodiversity
- Woodland law and social forestry
