We have received an enquiry from a North Hampshire (Tadley) hedgelayer to supply sufficient stakes & binders to lay 1km of hedge.
This would equate to approx :-

2000 stakes

4000m of binders (long & skinny)

The enquirer told me that he was currently working on his own and so I think that this is a bit adventurous for one man to tackle given that these are now only about 2.5 months left in which to hedge lay.

Alternatively if the blade of some vintage and worth preserving then several types of new handle for same can be purchased from Woodsmith.
