From time to time it is worth examining the practices employed by others further afield to see just what techniques and practices they employ in their woodlands to fell (axe & saw), convert (hewing using double bit axe & adze), frame (draw string, auger, brace & bit, slick & chisel) and build using white oak & poplar timbers.
